It is holidays liao since last Friday! Yesterday went to pengerang, Johor with my family. Wokes up 5.30 in the early morning. Then took a bumboat, And the bumboat ride tooks
1 HOUR! Super sian on the boat. The 1st thing we eat is chee cheong fan. Then we went to pray at the temple near the hotel that we were staying. Our first destination was the ostrich farm. The entry fee is 10 ringgit for an adult and 6 for children. The babies are so kawaii! I tried standing on the eggs. They didnt break even after so many ppl tried. We also try to feed the ostrichs. There are also orstrichs that are short-sighted. The skin feels like our skin. Their thighs is so large and heavy that it was said to weigh abt 30 kg for both sides. After the introduction of the farm, we went to outside to eat orstrich meat. There is satays, burger, and the egg. We also went to the soveniour shop to buy products made from ostrich. I bought a bookmark made by lamiating the feather. The egg tasted like normal egg but it feels like u are eating a pancake. Juz by going there i learn that the orstrich eat 1 day of food is equal to 1 week of our food. They eat wild grass sia and they have to be chopped finely before feeding. The egg can feed up to 15 ppl for a small one and 40 ppl for a big one. Next we went to the fruit farm. There i learn more about the fruits and how to see the different type of variety avaliable. It was a meaningful trip. At the end, we get a fruit platter (inside a box) each. After this we check into the hotel. It is really a small hotel. The tour guide let us rest there for 2hours. The tour guide is a relative of our neighbour. And they also go with us. Then we had dinner at 9pm coz we had our lunch at 4. During our rest, we took a stroll around the hotel. It was so cooling as the wind was blowing from the sea. Again, the adults went an another temple. We, the youngters, went back the the hotel to play poker cards. When we were too tired, we went to sleep. This morning, we had breakfast in a kopitiam. After that we went to the tour guide's house. Her house is really very big. There is sugar cane growing at the back and it grows quite tall. Then we set off to the herb farm. At there i get to see more about the different types of herbs avaliable. The last place we went to is the mango farm. But there is nothing to see. So my mum ended up buying more than 10kg of mangoes for us to eat.... Hehe.... That is what we did before coming back to Singapore. ... Hope to go back again as it was fun... Shopping wasn't suitable for me so going to countryside is really fun and exciting.
